Montbleau has been pouring his heart out in song since the early 2000s, when he first began performing around his native Massachusetts. He went on to collaborate with Martin Sexton, Trombone Shorty, and Galactic, among others. He also shared bills and stages with artists as diverse as Tedeschi Trucks Band, Ani DiFranco, the Wood Brothers, Rodrigo y Gabriela, and Mavis Staples, but it was Montbleau’s ecstatic headline shows—often more than two hundred of them a year—that solidified his reputation as a live powerhouse and an inexorable road warrior. NPR’s Mountain Stage compared his “eloquent, soulful songwriting” to that of Bill Withers and James Taylor, while Relix magazine hailed his “poetic Americana,” and the Boston Herald raved that “he’s made a career of confident, danceable positivity.”

Jay Allan
Jay Allan plays what is known to his fans as funky-folk blues-rock. Channeling honest passion and raw emotion through his own life and observations, the Colorado-born but Phoenix-based singer-songwriter and guitarist continues to gain fans and notoriety both locally and nationally. He combines heartfelt, memorable lyrics with genre-bending styles and melodies in his long list of ever-evolving original songs, which deal with joy, love, loss, gratitude, and searching and are often outlined with an insightful and sometimes humorous touch.

Dominick Provenzano
Armed with an eclectic taste in musical styles and a versatile skill set vocally and instrumentally, Dominick Provenzano has provided first-class entertainment at a wide variety of venues in the Valley, from Phoenix’s renowned Crescent Ballroom to numerous five-star resorts and upscale wine bars, in addition to festivals and private events across the state.

Montbleau is an up-and-coming artist who is well worth seeing.

No Depression

His style is perennial; he sounds as emblematic of the folk music scene ten or twenty years ago.
