After monitoring the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely, MIM is taking the following steps to further mitigate risk to our guests, team members, and community. Effective immediately, we will be cancelling MIM Music Theater concerts, public events and tours, and school field trips. For now, museum galleries will remain open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with many precautions in place for your health and safety. We continue to assess the situation and will provide timely updates to cancellations and postponements. Please check MIM.org for the most accurate information.

See below for a full list of impacted programs:

  • All performances in the MIM Music Theater through April 6
  • All school field trips through April 6
  • MIMkids classes and Adult, VIP, and Creative Aging tours cancelled through April 6
  • All Signature Events and public programs cancelled indefinitely
  • The Experience and Encore Galleries closed indefinitely
  • Orientation Tours suspended indefinitely
  • Orchestrion demonstrations suspended indefinitely

If you purchased tickets in advance of events or concerts that have been cancelled, we will be issuing a full refund to your original method of payment. If you would like to convert your tickets into a membership or donation to support MIM into the future, please contact Guest Service at guestservice@MIM.org or 480.478.6000 as soon as possible.

We deeply value MIM as a community and feel privileged to offer you the many music experiences you have come to know. For that reason, we do not take this decision lightly, but feel it is in everyone’s best interest. If you are practicing social distancing, stay engaged with MIM on social media (@MIMphx) for uplifting performances, behind-the-scenes looks at the collection, and much more. Thank you for your continued patience and support as we work through this difficult time together.
