James J. Widland

James Widland is a retired attorney from Albuquerque, New Mexico. As part of his practice, he provided legal services to nonprofit organizations, service clubs and charitable foundations on a pro bono basis.

Widland fondly recalls his first visit to the Musical Instrument Museum. He was dazzled by how unique, well thought out, and wonderfully interesting the museum was. Now that he resides in Phoenix and serves on MIM’s advisory board, he especially enjoys introducing people to all that the museum offers its visitors and concertgoers.
