Bassist, composer, and bandleader Dave Holland’s passion for musical expression and dedication to innovative music ensembles have propelled a professional career that has lasted more than 50 years and earned him top honors in his field, including multiple Grammy awards and an NEA Jazz Master Fellowship in 2017. Whether part of the electric whirlwind of Miles Davis’s electric band or the pioneering avant-garde quartet Circle or his own acclaimed big band, Holland has been at the forefront of jazz since his earliest days, constantly honing his instantly identifiable voice.

Guitarist and composer Kevin Eubanks is well known as the former music director of the Tonight Show band. His laidback style and affability belie the concentration, focus, and open-minded approach that made him a consummate musician and a household name among late-night TV viewers. He has worked with some of jazz’s greats, including Art Blakey, McCoy Tyner, Sam Rivers, Roy Haynes, and Ron Carter.

Grammy-nominated Eric Harland is the most in-demand drummer of his generation. Only 45, he has already been on close to 500 recordings and multiple film scores, and he has been recognized by such prominent publications as the New York Times, Modern Drummer, the New Yorker, and DownBeat.
