Free for educators
We believe that educators are both leaders in their communities and vital partners of the museum. In that spirit, MIM is pleased to announce our Educator Appreciation Month in July. During the entire month of July, prekindergarten through 12th-grade educators, school and district administrators, principals, registered student teachers, and homeschool educators will receive free general museum admission upon presentation of a school ID, fingerprint clearance card, or affidavit of intent.
For the month of July, educators will receive a 10% discount on most items at the Museum Store and a 10% discount, excluding alcohol, in Beats Coffee Bar℠ and Café Allegro. This special discount cannot be combined with any other offers and does not apply to previously purchased items. Teachers are asked to present school ID at time of purchase.
Current prekindergarten through 12th grade educators, school and district administrators, registered student teachers, teacher’s aides, and homeschool educators will be granted complimentary admission with a school- or district-issued ID, a fingerprint clearance card, or, for homeschool educators, an affidavit of intent.
Educator Appreciation Month and the educational materials associated with it are designed to give current educators, specifically in the prekindergarten through 12th grade levels, a chance to preview MIM and plan their upcoming class visit to the museum.
Educator Appreciation Month focuses on prekindergarten through 12th grade classroom educators so they can learn about MIM and how they can use the museum as a resource for arts education in their classroom.
Our generous sponsors provide museum admission for teachers only. Additional family members and friends may purchase museum admission separately. MIM welcomes guests of all ages! Click here for pricing information.
