Opening Act: Sammy Boller
Howe’s kinetic, jazzy lead style . . . is confounding, playful, and evidence that you are, indeed, in the presence of a virtuoso.
—Guitar World
Greg Howe is one of the world’s best rock and fusion guitarists. His Lost and Found Tour features selections from his upcoming 11th solo album, which follows his 2017 release Wheelhouse, which was named one of the 20 best guitar albums of the 2010s by Guitar World. Over his long career, Howe has developed a solid reputation as a technical innovator, particularly for his “hammer-on from nowhere” technique, legato runs, unusual time signatures, and linear tapping approach.
Howe has also played key roles in numerous collaborative recording and touring projects, partnering with such world-renowned musicians as Dennis Chambers, Victor Wooten, Billy Sheehan, Jordan Rudess, Eddie Jobson, Tony Levin, Marco Minnemann, Richie Kotzen, Dave Weckl, and Tetsuo Sakurai. In 2018, Howe recorded all the guitar work for Simon Phillips’s Grammy-nominated album Protocol 4.
The show includes material from Howe’s new album as well as some of his most popular songs.
Opening act Sammy Boller has been hailed by Guitar World as “one of the electric guitar’s most promising names.” His 2020 debut album, Kingdom of the Sun, reached number 19 on the iTunes Rock Album chart.
