In the 1970s, guitarist Johnny A. was forming bands in New England and drawing attention (and sideman work) from established musicians such as Derek and the Dominos keyboardist Bobby Whitlock and Doug Clifford of Creedence Clearwater Revival. In 2015, he joined the Yardbirds as their lead guitarist. His solo career spans three full-length albums, a live double DVD/CD set, and an instructional video. He has been nominated for a Grammy Award, was named Blues Artist of the Year by the Boston Music Awards in 2010, and is enshrined in the revered Boston Music Awards Hall of Fame.

Johnny A. now takes an adventurous musical left turn, presenting his distinct instrumental guitar approach and coupling it with his live looping expertise for the first time in a completely solo intimate atmosphere. The evening promises to be a special living room–style experience featuring some of Johnny A.’s favorite songs and stories, which have molded him into the musician and person he is.
