Comprised of Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan, the duo is known for intricate, inventive musicianship, with deeply personal storytelling set to ethereal harmonies. Their latest release, The Only Ones, finds the Grammy-nominated duo performing a stripped-down acoustic set without a backing band.
With soft acoustic guitar picking and deftly accented trombone sighs, Hayley Heynderickx’s music immediately recalls folk music of the ’60s and ’70s, also reflecting a love of jazz radio and featuring vocals that range from sultry to operatic. The singer-songwriter released her debut album, I Need to Start a Garden, in 2018.
