The MusicaNova Brass Quintet takes the audience on a journey through time and across geography. From a 15th-century Flemish composer, through Italy, Germany, and Russia (where the brass quintet is said to have originated), to American composers who popularized the blues, raised ragtime to an art form, and melded jazz and classical motifs, you’ll hear six centuries of music in one evening.
